Walmart on Speedway and Kolb celebrated the grand opening of its new Fuel Center — and they did so by giving back to local schools! Palo Verde received $1,000 towards our school and teacher Brenna Camping received $500 to be used for her classroom.

School Photos - Spring Carnival and Alumni Baseball Game
It was quite a party at Palo Verde High School on April 26! Dozens of students and families showed up to support the PTA's Spring Carnival and watch the annual alumni baseball game. People were able to go back and forth between events easily, while being able to participate in a variety of activities, some light shopping from local artisans, and enjoy food from local food trucks.

Palo Verde High Magnet School's baseball team hit the field. While the game didn't end in a win, their outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship were a true reflection of the Titan spirit!

School Photos - Future Titan Night
On March 25, more than 40 families stopped by Palo Verde High School for Future Titan Night. The event was for families with students interested in attending the eastside high school, whether incoming freshmen or transfers. Families started the night in the auditorium, where the Performing Arts Department put on a brief showcase, including a sneak peek at the upcoming Seussical the Musical. After, families were split up into three groups and got a campus tour while meeting with different staff members at different areas.

School Photos - Special Olympics Basketball Tournament

Palo Verde's Unified basketball team participated in the Special Olympics Basketball Tournament, on Feb. 26, with 12 teams from various Tucson-area high schools. They played two games, the first against the Amphitheater Panthers and then the second against Canyon del Oro Dorados. Palo Verde walked away with silver medals!
