The top 5 students all received a trophy and some Palo Verde swag. The top 2 students also received Amazon gift cards. Well done!
School Photos - New shoes for girl's basketball team
On Nov. 2, Palo Verde Athletic Director Jason Karn put out a call on Facebook asking for “any and all new or lightly used athletic footwear and equipment for our current athletes.” Last night, the call was answered. Andy Morales of Kicks for Kids, the AIA, and All Sports Tucson delivered 20 pairs of brand new Nikes valued at $2,200 before Monday’s practice. Each year, Andy donates new shoes to a sports program at a local high school. When he saw Karn’s plea, he instantly knew which school to donate to this year. #TUSDSports #Proud2BTUSD
