Who We Are
Welcome
At Palo Verde, we pride ourselves on fostering an environment of inclusivity, excellence, and collaboration. We provide a nurturing and stimulating educational experience that empowers our students to achieve their full potential and become lifelong learners.
Focus
Our focus on STEAM education gives students access to our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, where they can earn industry certification in their area of study; as well as numerous courses in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
Mission
Palo Verde High Magnet School exists to provide high quality instruction in all curricular areas in a safe and encouraging environment. We are here to promote supportive, engaging, and challenging avenues that will lead students toward post-secondary education, lifelong learning, and a successful quality of life.
Awards
We are proud to have been recognized as a 'B' rated school by the Arizona Department of Education, and we are also a Ben's Bells Kind Campus and a Safe Sports School.

'B' School Recognition

B Rated School

Palo Verde has been recognized as a 'B' school by the Arizona Department of Education for the 2023-2024 school year!
Arizona State Seal of Arts Proficiency Seal Recipients
An arts themed mural under the Performing Arts sign on a brick wallCongratulations to our three senior performing arts students who have been awarded the Arizona Seal of Arts Proficiency! These students successfully completed a capstone project and a rigorous interview about their creative process. A copper seal will be placed on their diplomas and the Seal will be recorded on their transcripts. The students and their capstone projects are listed below:

Ryder Meinhardt – Original band composition entitled, “Upon the Ochre Hill”

Isabelle Telles – Performance of Hermia in “Midsummer Night’s Dream” and original modern Hermia monologue

Tatum Owles – Original performing arts-themed mural on steel canvas (see photo)
